Fill the grid so every row, column and box has 1 to 9. Free, with no sign-up.
How to play Sudoku
Fill every empty square so that each row, each column and each 3 × 3 box contains the numbers 1 to 9 exactly once. Every puzzle here has one solution and can be solved by logic, without guessing.
- Tap a square, then tap a number. On a keyboard, use the arrow keys to move and type a number.
- Turn on Notes to pencil in possible numbers. When you place a number, the game tidies up the notes in the same row, column and box.
- There is no limit on mistakes and no time limit. Use Check at any time to see if any squares are wrong, and Hint to fill in one square.
- Easy puzzles need only simple steps. Medium, Hard and Expert need more advanced techniques, and Evil needs the hardest ones we use. Every level can still be solved without guessing.
Keyboard
Arrow keys move between squares. Type 1 to 9 to fill a square, or hold Shift to add a note. Backspace erases. N turns Notes on and off. Ctrl+Z undoes.
